    The Blackwing Spotting Thread

Just saw TWO within 30 seconds going opposite directions. An electric blue ct5 and a murdered out ct4 at the pa turnpike/309 interchange near Philly. As typical, I was in our Honda Civic with some bicycles hanging off the back definitely looking like I'd be a blacking owner. Yet to see a single...

    Spring Mountain Curriculum

yes, but you only get 2 sets of rear tires for free. if you wish to drift more, they have a representative from Ling Long tires on site where you can purchase additional pairs. skip the track insurance and putt that money towards additional tires instead.

    retrofitting CT5 display in CT4

Yeah also don't bother popping off the black bezel (piece I wrapped in carbon behind volume knobs) ahead of time, it doesn't Make it easier and you run the risk of breaking the really tiny tabs that hold it on To get the screen out: Pull the side triangle trim pieces undo 2 bolts get comfy...

    retrofitting CT5 display in CT4

I'm hoping to but it's been a bit chaotic with our house addition and gut job reno still in full swing. Hoping to have all my rta kitchen cabinets installed this weekend and then it's just measuring and ordering countertops, installing backsplash, finishing the 2nd floor bathroom, powder room...

    The Blackwing Spotting Thread

I've only seen a blackwing once while driving my blackwing, several while driving my fiancee's civic. Nothing like the poser in a Honda Civic saying "yeah my other garage queen is a blackwing, trust me" 😂

    retrofitting CT5 display in CT4

the mounting will be "fun" but doable. the software side was what tripped me up.

    retrofitting CT5 display in CT4

The screen assembly is significantly bigger on the back of the back of the ct5. A full custom mount / modification of the CT5 screen assembly would be needed. My intention was to only bastardize the CT5 screen and leave the ct5 dash unolmolested so it could always accept a ct4 screen back into...

    Bent OEM wheel

I used gmpartswarehouse but any of them should be fine. Everyone complains that the sites are bad but fails to realize that they are all just private dealers that order the part from GM and drop ship to you. Expect the wheels to take 3-4 weeks from time of order to actually ship.

Has anyone “fixed” the ugly plastic piece below the infotainment screen?

Hi all, no update on this for production means as I'm neck deep in a house renovation, BUT! I have 1 available bezel for a manual ct5. First come first served to my inbox. Price will be $350 shipped with instructions and I can send out tmw. Thanks

    Bent OEM wheel

I had vossens on my prior car that were softer than play dough... 4 wheels and I think I did 5 or 6 repairs on them in 2 years. Gladly paid for that insurance. The way I look at it, I've got 3 "fuck it it's a rental" joy rides remaining 😂

    Bent OEM wheel

Yes I bent a tech bronze about 6 months ago. Got tire and wheel insurance and pushed the dealer to fight for a new one instead of a repair which they did and got approved. They billed the cost as ~$950. I bought my own second set off a gm parts site and the costs usually were around $650.

Has anyone “fixed” the ugly plastic piece below the infotainment screen?

Scanning is a pita. Trying to get the file cleaned up as it's current form will cost an extra $100 to print. Sorry for delays, been working on this in my limited free time while in the office. Once I have a part 3d printed, next step is to send it out to a shop to wrap, confirm quality is good...
